Ard\u0131ndan konu\u015fan Vali \u00c7akacak, T\u00fcrkiye’nin kalk\u0131nmas\u0131nda ve geli\u015fmesinde bir lokomotif g\u00f6revi \u00fcstlenen \u00fcniversitelerin rekt\u00f6rlerini Mersin\u2019de a\u011f\u0131rlamaktan duydu\u011fu memnuniyeti ifade ederek, \u00fcniversitelerin bilginin \u00fcretildi\u011fi, yay\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131, teknolojiye d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc\u011f\u00fc, fikirlerin konu\u015fulabildi\u011fi \u00e7ok \u00f6zel yerler oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yledi. \u00c7akacak, \u00fcniversitelerin sadece bulunduklar\u0131 \u015fehrin de\u011fil, ayn\u0131 zamanda \u00fclkelerinin de sosyal, k\u00fclt\u00fcrel ve ekonomik kalk\u0131nmas\u0131na hizmet eden \u00f6nemli kurulu\u015flardan oldu\u011funu vurgulad\u0131. Devletin ve h\u00fck\u00fcmetin ge\u00e7mi\u015ften bu yana \u00fcniversitelerin kurulmas\u0131, geli\u015fmesi, \u00e7ok daha fazla insan\u0131n \u00fcniversitelerden faydalanmas\u0131 i\u00e7in \u00f6nemli \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar y\u00fcr\u00fctt\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcn alt\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7izen \u00c7akacak, “B\u00fcy\u00fck ve g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc T\u00fcrkiye Cumhuriyeti Devletinin evlatlar\u0131n\u0131 siz yeti\u015ftiriyorsunuz. Millet ve devlet olarak uluslararas\u0131 arenada hak edilen yere ula\u015fmam\u0131zda \u00fcniversitelerimizin, rekt\u00f6rlerimizin ve akademisyenlerimizin son derece b\u00fcy\u00fck pay\u0131 oldu\u011funu biliyor, gelece\u011fe b\u00fcy\u00fck umutlarla bak\u0131yoruz” dedi.
