Prof. Dr. Erkan Akta\u015f, Mersin B\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir Belediye Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Vahap Se\u00e7er\u2019e hitaben kaleme ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131k mektupta, kentin gelece\u011fini tehdit eden \u00e7evresel risklere kar\u015f\u0131 ortak m\u00fccadele \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131s\u0131nda bulundu.<\/p>\n<p>Yakla\u015f\u0131k bir y\u0131ld\u0131r \u00c7ukurova b\u00f6lgesinde at\u0131k ithalat\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7evre ve insan sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00fczerindeki etkilerine dikkat \u00e7ekti\u011fini belirten Akta\u015f, bilimsel veriler \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda kamuoyunu bilgilendirmeye devam etti\u011fini ifade etti. Ele\u015ftirilerinin ki\u015fisel de\u011fil, tamamen kamu yarar\u0131 odakl\u0131 oldu\u011funu vurgulayan Akta\u015f, \u201cBenim i\u00e7in \u00f6nemli olan ki\u015filer de\u011fil, Mersin\u2019in gelece\u011fidir\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u201cMERS\u0130N, AVRUPA\u2019NIN ATIK G\u00dcZERG\u00c2HINDA\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye\u2019nin uzun s\u00fcredir Avrupa\u2019n\u0131n en fazla at\u0131k ithal eden \u00fclkeleri aras\u0131nda yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131na dikkat \u00e7ekilen a\u00e7\u0131klamada, bu at\u0131klar\u0131n \u00f6nemli bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131n Mersin Liman\u0131 \u00fczerinden b\u00f6lgeye giri\u015f yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131na i\u015faret edildi. Adana ve Mersin\u2019de i\u015flenen bu at\u0131klar\u0131n;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00e7evre kirlili\u011fini art\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131,<\/li>\n<li>mikroplastik olu\u015fumunu tetikledi\u011fi,<\/li>\n<li>deniz ekosistemini tehdit etti\u011fi,<\/li>\n<li>halk sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan ciddi riskler bar\u0131nd\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>vurguland\u0131.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u201cYETK\u0130 SINIRI DE\u011e\u0130L, SORUMLULUK MESELES\u0130\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p>At\u0131k ithalat\u0131n\u0131n do\u011frudan belediyelerin yetki alan\u0131nda olmayabilece\u011fini belirten Akta\u015f, ancak ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan sonu\u00e7lar\u0131n yerel y\u00f6netimleri do\u011frudan ilgilendirdi\u011finin alt\u0131n\u0131 \u00e7izdi. Belediyelerin bu noktada kamuoyunu bilgilendirme ve \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm s\u00fcre\u00e7lerine \u00f6nc\u00fcl\u00fck etme sorumlulu\u011fu bulundu\u011fu ifade edildi.<\/p>\n<p><b>ORTAK PLATFORM \u00c7A\u011eRISI<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Akta\u015f, Mersin ve Adana b\u00fcy\u00fck\u015fehir belediyelerinin birlikte hareket etmesi gerekti\u011fini belirterek, \u015fu \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131y\u0131 yapt\u0131:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bilim insanlar\u0131n\u0131n,<\/li>\n<li>meslek odalar\u0131n\u0131n,<\/li>\n<li>sivil toplum kurulu\u015flar\u0131n\u0131n<\/li>\n<li>ve ilgili kurumlar\u0131n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>kat\u0131l\u0131m\u0131yla kapsaml\u0131 bir de\u011ferlendirme s\u00fcreci ba\u015flat\u0131lmas\u0131.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdana ve Mersin ayn\u0131 havzay\u0131, ayn\u0131 denizi ve ayn\u0131 gelece\u011fi payla\u015f\u0131yor. Sorun ortaksa \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm de ortak olmal\u0131d\u0131r\u201d ifadeleriyle b\u00f6lgesel i\u015f birli\u011finin \u00f6nemine dikkat \u00e7ekildi.<\/p>\n<p><b>\u201cBU B\u0130R S\u0130YAS\u0130 DE\u011e\u0130L, YA\u015eAM HAKKI \u00c7A\u011eRISIDIR\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p>A\u00e7\u0131klaman\u0131n sonunda \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131n\u0131n siyasi bir talep olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00f6zellikle vurguland\u0131.
