Lion Madencilik ad\u0131na ruhsatland\u0131r\u0131lan ve y\u0131lda 9 bin 600 metrek\u00fcp blok mermer \u00fcretilmesi planlanan proje i\u00e7in Mersin Valili\u011fi 30 Aral\u0131k 2019\u2019da &#8220;\u00c7ED Gerekli De\u011fildir&#8221; karar\u0131 vermi\u015fti. Ancak projeye ait tan\u0131t\u0131m dosyas\u0131nda Anamur il\u00e7esine dair bilgilerin Wikipedia\u2019dan oldu\u011fu gibi kopyaland\u0131\u011f\u0131 ortaya \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Bunun \u00fczerine Mersin \u00c7evre ve Do\u011fa Derne\u011fi (MER\u00c7ED), b\u00f6lge muhtarlar\u0131 ve y\u00f6re sakinleri projeye kar\u015f\u0131 dava a\u00e7t\u0131. Mersin 1. \u0130dare Mahkemesi, 2022 y\u0131l\u0131nda verdi\u011fi kararda; yakla\u015f\u0131k 1.350 a\u011fac\u0131n kesilebilece\u011fi, yer alt\u0131 su kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131n, bal ormanlar\u0131n\u0131n, yabani zeytinliklerin ve arkeolojik sit alanlar\u0131n\u0131n zarar g\u00f6rebilece\u011fi gerek\u00e7esiyle Valili\u011fin &#8220;\u00c7ED Gerekli De\u011fildir&#8221; karar\u0131n\u0131 iptal etmi\u015fti.
