Mersin\u2019in Silifke il\u00e7esinde, Roma D\u00f6nemi\u2019nden 20. y\u00fczy\u0131la kadar kesintisiz yerle\u015fime sahne olan tarihi Silifke Kalesi, y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n ard\u0131ndan yeniden ziyaret\u00e7ilere a\u00e7\u0131lmaya haz\u0131rlan\u0131yor. Kaz\u0131 ve restorasyon s\u00fcrecinde \u00f6nemli a\u015fama kaydedilen kalede, \u0131\u015f\u0131kland\u0131rma ve \u00e7evre d\u00fczenleme \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 s\u00fcr\u00fcyor.<\/p>\n
Ankara Hac\u0131 Bayram Veli \u00dcniversitesi Edebiyat Fak\u00fcltesi Sanat Tarihi B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc \u00d6\u011fretim \u00dcyesi Prof. Dr. Ali Boran ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131nda yakla\u015f\u0131k 20 ki\u015filik ekip taraf\u0131ndan y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen kaz\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n tamamlanmas\u0131yla birlikte, K\u00fclt\u00fcr ve Turizm Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 da kalenin ziyarete a\u00e7\u0131lmas\u0131 i\u00e7in d\u00fc\u011fmeye bast\u0131. Bu kapsamda 185 metre y\u00fcksekli\u011findeki tepede yer alan kalede \u0131\u015f\u0131kland\u0131rma, \u00e7it yap\u0131m\u0131 ve \u00e7evre d\u00fczenleme \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 \u00f6zel bir firma arac\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131yla devam ediyor.<\/p>\n
Sahadaki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 yerinde inceleyen \u0130l K\u00fclt\u00fcr ve Turizm M\u00fcd\u00fcr\u00fc Hakan Do\u011fanay ile Silifke Kaymakam\u0131 Abdullah Aslaner, projenin son durumu hakk\u0131nda bilgi ald\u0131. Do\u011fanay, \u201cValimiz Say\u0131n Atilla Toros\u2019un talimatlar\u0131yla, Silifke Kaymakam\u0131m\u0131z ve teknik ekiplerle birlikte y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen \u0131\u015f\u0131kland\u0131rma ve \u00e7it yap\u0131m\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131 yerinde inceledik\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n
2015 y\u0131l\u0131nda ziyarete kapat\u0131lan kalede y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fclen kaz\u0131, restorasyon ve konservasyon \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n gelecek y\u0131l tamamlanmas\u0131 hedefleniyor. \u00c7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n tamamlanmas\u0131yla birlikte Silifke Kalesi\u2019nin hem tarih merakl\u0131lar\u0131na yeniden kap\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7mas\u0131 hem de gece \u0131\u015f\u0131kland\u0131rmas\u0131yla il\u00e7e siluetine yeni bir de\u011fer katmas\u0131 bekleniyor.<\/p>\n
Temel bulgulara g\u00f6re Helenistik ya da Erken Roma D\u00f6nemi\u2019ne tarihlenen kale, Bizans, Karamano\u011flu ve Osmanl\u0131 d\u00f6nemlerinde ge\u00e7irdi\u011fi onar\u0131m ve de\u011fi\u015fikliklerle g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze ula\u015ft\u0131. Bug\u00fcn Orta \u00c7a\u011f kalesi g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcnde olan yap\u0131, 185 metre y\u00fcksekli\u011finde bir tepe \u00fczerinde yer al\u0131rken, kuru hendekle \u00e7evrili oval plan\u0131, kemerli galerileri, su sarn\u0131\u00e7lar\u0131 ve depo kal\u0131nt\u0131lar\u0131yla dikkat \u00e7ekiyor.<\/p>\n
